Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans change. This policy explains how and when you can cancel an order with ChiragExports, what charges (if any) apply, and how refunds for cancelled orders are processed.

1. Cancellation by the Customer

1.1 Before dispatch — free cancellation

Orders can be cancelled free of charge any time before they are dispatched from our warehouse. To cancel, please:

Once we confirm the order has not been handed over to the courier, we will cancel it and initiate a full refund within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.

1.2 After dispatch

If your order has already been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. Please refuse delivery, or accept it and initiate a return under our Refund & Return Policy within 7 days of delivery.

1.3 Made-to-order, custom & bespoke items

Products labelled "made-to-order", "bespoke", or "custom-tailored" (including stitched ethnic wear and personalised pieces) can be cancelled only within 24 hours of placing the order. After that, production has begun and these items become non-cancellable and non-refundable.

1.4 Sale & clearance items

Items purchased on sale or under clearance promotions are final sale and cannot be cancelled or returned once dispatched, unless they arrive damaged or defective.

2. Cancellation by ChiragExports

We reserve the right to cancel an order in the following situations:

  • Product unavailability or unexpected stock shortage.
  • Errors in pricing or product information on our website.
  • Inability to deliver to the shipping address provided.
  • Suspected fraudulent activity or violation of our Terms & Conditions.
  • Force majeure events including but not limited to natural disasters, civil unrest, courier strikes, or regulatory restrictions.

In all such cases, we will notify you by email and refund the full amount within 5–7 business days.

3. Refunds for Cancelled Orders

  • Prepaid (UPI / card / netbanking): Refund issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days. Bank processing may take an additional 1–3 business days to reflect.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD): No payment has been collected, so no refund is required. If you have already paid the courier, please email us with proof of payment for a bank transfer refund within 7 business days.
  • International orders: Customs duties, taxes, and inbound shipping fees (if already incurred) are non-refundable.

4. Partial Cancellations

If you ordered multiple items and would like to cancel only some of them, please contact us before dispatch. We can cancel individual items and refund their value. Shipping charges may be recalculated based on the remaining items.

5. How to Track a Cancellation

Once a cancellation is confirmed, you will receive an email with the cancellation reference number. If you have a registered account at ChiragExports, you can also view the status of the order under My Orders.
